1. Service description

TempoSync provides AI-powered tempo detection and metronome generation. Users upload an audio file, our system detects the tempo using a neural network, and generates a beat map that synchronizes a metronome click track to the original recording. The metronome runs locally in your browser using the Web Audio API.

Uploaded audio files are processed temporarily in volatile memory on our analysis server. No audio content is stored on any server after processing completes. Results are delivered as downloadable WAV and MIDI files generated locally in your browser, or as beat map data viewable on your dashboard.

2. Credits and payments

Each track analysis consumes one credit from your account. New accounts receive one free credit to try the service. Credits do not expire and remain on your account until used. Credit packages are available for purchase through our pricing page.

All payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy. Credits are non-refundable. In the event of a failed analysis due to a technical issue on our end, you may contact us to request a credit refund.

3. Acceptable use

By using TempoSync, you agree not to:

• Upload audio content you do not own or have permission to analyze.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit systems, or authentication mechanisms.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI model or analysis algorithms.
• Automate uploads or use the service in a manner that exceeds reasonable personal use.

4. Service availability

TempoSync is provided on an “as-is” basis. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance or unexpected outages may temporarily affect service availability.

5. Limitation of liability

TempoSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of audio files, or interruption of creative workflow. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for credits in the twelve months preceding the claim.

6. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TempoSync after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect.
