Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

TempoSync does not store your audio files. When you upload a track for analysis, it is processed temporarily in memory on our analysis server and immediately deleted after the beat map is generated. We do not retain, share, or sell your music under any circumstances.

We collect only the minimum necessary to provide our service:

• Email address — for account identification and communication.
• Authentication provider identifier — Google account ID or email for password-based login.
• Beat map data — BPM values and timestamps derived from your audio. No audio data is stored.
• Payment transaction metadata — processed by Stripe, our payment provider.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the TempoSync service. Specifically, we use it to display your analysis history on your dashboard, manage your credit balance, process payments through Stripe, and send account-related emails such as confirmations and password resets.

We do not use your data for advertising, user profiling, or machine learning beyond the beat detection algorithm that processes your uploaded audio. We do not sell any user data to third parties.

3. Data storage and security

All user data is stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database with Row Level Security enabled on all tables. Authentication tokens are stored as secure HTTP-only cookies. Audio files are never written to any persistent storage — they exist only in memory during the analysis process and are destroyed immediately afterwards.

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store, process, or transmit credit card details on our servers. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

4. Third-party services

TempoSync relies on the following third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf:

• Supabase — database hosting and user authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Google — OAuth identity provider for social login.

5. Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Track records and beat maps can be deleted directly from your dashboard without needing to contact support. For privacy-related inquiries, reach us at the contact page or email us directly.

6. Updates to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of TempoSync after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
